Imposing complex of buildings dating back to 1285, located outside the city center, in the early countryside of Parma. Originally it included a church, two cloisters and the monks’ cells, all enclosed by imposing perimeter walls. In its first period the Certosa was renowned for the school activities that took place inside it, where the monks studied astronomy, mathematics and physics.

The current complex includes the church dedicated to San Girolamo, a sacristy and a major cloister (both from the 16th century), a minor cloister (from the 15th century). The room is located on the second floor of Palazzo Domanto, with over 30 square meters, the elegant room has a large private balcony overlooking the garden of the structure. The splendid Palazzo Domanto is a large building in the center of Parma dating back to the early ‘900, completely renovated to accommodate tourists, travelers and anyone passing through Parma wants to stay in a historic building of the city and walk through the ancient lanes where even today time seems to have stopped.
